In September, 2010, the People's Rock Hall facebook page was deleted for reasons never actually explained. We had more than 3,000 followers on our FB page and lost all contact with them when we were deleted.
Since then, I set up another page under a different name and experimented with a different approach to the system we had been using here. I am currently looking into finding a way to blend the two projects into something that incorporates the best attributes of each. Stay tuned for more information as it can be announced. Thanks again to everyone for all of their support.

Nominees for our September, 2010 Election
Welcome to the September election for the People's Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. If you haven't voted before, take a moment to look at the rules.
Vote for up to 25 artists or groups. Ballots can be posted either in the comments section of this blog post or on the wall of our official Facebook page.
You must vote for at least 10. Ballots with less than 10 names will not be counted.
Any artist or group named on at least 50% of the counted ballots will be inducted to The People's Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
The cutoff year for eligibility is 1968. To be eligible, an artist or group had to have released their first single or album no later than '68.
Write-in votes are allowed. You may list up to three artists or groups not included on the ballot, and the vote will count, so long as they meet the 1968 cut-off date. If an ineligible name is included on a write-in ballot, that ballot may be counted as a short ballot. Ballots containing more than three write-in votes will not be counted. The People's Rock Hall moderators reserve the right to remove any ballots it deems questionable which cannot be resolved before the end of the election period.
Balloting ends at 12:00 noon PST on Friday September 17, 2010.
